    The mole number of the solute after dilution is constant. So the mole number of 319 ml of 6.80 M HCl is 6.80*319*10^ (-3) = 2.17 mol. So the volume of 6.00 M HCl needed is 2.17/6.00=0.362 L=362 ml.
