After Sandra combs her hair, she notices that her hair moves toward the comb. Describe what occurred to charge the comb and then to charge the hair.

    Charge imbalance occured due to rubbing.

    Comb can get either positive or negative charge and hair get opposite charge

    Explanation:

    Static electricity is created as the result of rubbing. This create charge imbalance. This occur mostly at the surface of object.

    When the comb rubs the hair, Comb can get either positive or negative charge and hair get opposite charge. If the comb get negative charge then hairs get positive.
