    The pH increases because the concentration of hydrogen ions increases.

    the chemical reaction between NaOH and HNO3 is

    NaOH + HNO3 ⇒NaNO3+H2O ...

    there is an increase in Ph because NaOH gives OH which increase the pH in product formed ...

    HNO3 is acidic, but NaNO3 is neutral here because Naoh increases the ph and makes it neutral ... N03 is the conjugate base of HNO3 ...
