How might the idea of continental drift explain 300-million-old glacial grooves on four separate southern continents?

    Since there are no major Icebergs near the Southern continents which lie around the equator and the tropics and have warm climate the only way they can have glacial grooves is that if the land masses were connected in such a way that the glaciers could move from further north to down south along a connected piece of land.
