    The molarity of dilute solution is calculated using M1V1 = M2V2 formula

    M1 = molarity 1 (6.0 m)

    V1 = volume 1 (445ml)

    V2 = volume 2 (2.5 x1000 = 2500ml)

    M2 = molarity 2 = ?

    M2 is therefore = M1V1/V2

    = 445 ml x 6.0 M / 2500ml = 1.07 M
