    Gas particles are able to move free within the gas and they even collide with each other, if they gain enough energy they start to move faster the collisions occur more often and the particles bond. A is the correct answer

    In my opinion, the best answer among the choices listed above is option D. Gas particles are constantly in motion and changing position. It is the state where molecules has the highest amount of molecular kinetic energy. The molecules move freely and collide with each other.
