Adding 15 g of Flubber with 85 g of inert solvent will result in the formation of 15 % solution.

    Data Given:

    W/V % = 15 %

    Weight of Flubber = ?

    Weight of Solution = ?

    Solution:

Let's suppose we are going to prepare a 100 mL solution. The using following formula we can calsulate the amount of Flubber required.

    W / W % = (Weight of Flubber : Weight of Solution) * 100

    Putting values,

    15 % = (Weight of Flubber : 100 g) * 100

    Solving for Weight of flubber,

    Weight of Flubber = (15 * 100 g) : 100

    Weight of Flubber = 15 g

Hence, taking 15 g of Flubber and adding it to 85 g of solvent will result in the formation of 15% Flubber solution.
