What is the shape of boron trifluoride?

    Phosphorus trifluoride, PF3, has atrigonal pyramidal molecular geometry because of the lone pair of electrons present on the central atom. By comparison, boron trifluoride, BF3, istrigonal planar because there are nolone pairs of electrons present on the central atom.
