What geological forces might be responsible for this range of mountains?

    There several geological forces that might cause for mountain ranges or system of mountains to appear on the face of the earth. Plate tectonic movement is one. Mountain ranges in Himalayas that covers miles across different countries. Scientist believed that they formed under a plate tectonic seismic belt.

    Mountain ranges are system of individual mountains which also can be formed with different geological forces like diastrophism or movement of earth's crust.
