The remaining volume of gas is 28.939 L

    Explanation:

    Boyle's law:

assuming the constant temperature, the pressure of a gas varies inversely with the volume.

    ⇒ V1 * P1 = V2 * P2

    ∴ V1 = 25.7 L

    ∴ P1 = 670 mm Hg

    ∴ P2 = 595 mm Hg

    ∴ V2 : remaining volume of gas

    ⇒ V2 = (V1 * P1) / P2

    ⇒ V2 = (25.7 L * 670 mm Hg) / 595 mm Hg

    ⇒ V2 = 28.939 L
