    Solution:

    Balance chemical equation:

    2Fe₂O₃ + 3C → 4Fe + 3CO₂

    Number of moles of Fe₂O₃:

    Number of moles = mass / molar mass

    Number of moles = 525 g / 159.69 g/mol

    Number of moles = 3.3 mol

    Now we will compare the moles of Fe₂O₃ with carbon from balance chemical equation.

    Fe₂O₃ : C

    Mass of carbon:
