A gas has a volume of 590 mL at a temperature of - 55 C. What volume will the gas occupy at 30 C?

    V1/T1=v2/T2

    V1=540mL

    T1=-55°c to convert to Kelvin

    273-55=218k

    V2=?

    T2=30°c to convert to Kelvin

    273+30=303k

    540/218=v2/303

    Cross multiply

    218v2=540*303

    V2=540*303/218

    V2=163620/218

    V2=750.550mL
