Calculate the molarity of a solution prepared by dissolving 1.00 g of ethanol, C2H5OH, in enough water to give a final volume of 101 mL

    Molar mass C2H5OH = 46.06 g/mol

    Number of moles:

    1.00 / 46.06 = > 0.0217 moles

    Volume = 101 mL / 1000 = > 0.101 L

    Therefore:

    Molarity = moles / volume

    Molarity = 0.0217 / 0.101

    => 0.214 M
