Number of moles = Given mass/molar mass
Given mass : 72 gm
Molar mass of oxygen gas = 16*2 = 32 gm
Therefore, number of moles = 72/32 = 2.25

Moles = mass / molar mass
molar mass of O2 is 32
therefore moles = 72/32
= 2.25 moles
