False. The Sun is constantly growing and will eventually become what scientists call a Red Giant in approximately 5.5 billion years form now, a Planetary Nebula in about 6.5 billion years from now, a White Dwarf in about 7 or 8.5 years from now, and finally a Black Dwarf in trillions of years after that.
