    The answer to your question is 1.28 L

    Explanation:

    Data

    Volume 1 = V1 = 2.6 L

    Temperature 1 = T1 = 87°C = 360°K

    Pressure 1 = P1 = 1.30 atm

    Volume 2 = V2 = x

    Temperature 2 = T2 = 367°C = 640°K

    Pressure 2 = P2 = 4.70 atm

    Process

    1. - To solve this problem use the Combined gas law

    P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2

    Solve for V2

    V2 = P1V1T2 / T1P2

    2. - Substitution

    V2 = (1.3) (2.6) (640) / (360) (4.70)

    3. - Simplification

    V2 = 2163.2 / 1692

    4. - Result

    V2 = 1.28 L
