    The answer to your question is P₁ = 0.63 atm

    Explanation:

    Data

    P₁ = x

    V₁ = 300 ml

    P₂ = 1 atm STP P = 1 atm

    V₂ = 190 ml

    Process

    1. - Use Boyle's law to solve this problem

    P₁V₁ = P₂V₂

    solve for P₁

    P₁ = P₂V₂/V₁

    2. - Substitution

    P₁ = (1) (190) / (300)

    3. - Simplification

    P₁ = 190/300

    4. - Result

    P₁ = 0.63 atm
