Which chemical in the atmosphere of Titan (a moon of Saturn) appears to play the same role that water plays on Earth in producing "rain" and forming lakes and streams, at the temperature encountered on the moon?

    Saturn is the least dense planet of the Solar system. It has about 62 moons. Saturn is known for its beautiful ring system. Titan is the largest moon. It has a very dense atmosphere and the only moon in the solar system to have so. Its atmosphere is composed of mostly Nitrogen, Methane and Hydrogen.

    Just like the water cycle on the Earth, the largest moon of the Saturn, Titan has Methane cycle. There are lakes and streams of hydrocarbons such as methane on its surface. The clouds are formed of methane which later pour down as rain.
