The total energy if all particles in an object is called thermal energy.

All the particle in humans move alot and that is why we are warm-blooded. Heat is energy. Some people might call it internal energy, but it is thermal energy still.

    2. The temperature scale used in most of the world is Celsius. The US, Brazil and the Bahamas are really the only one who uses Fahrenheit.

    3. Heat always flows from a hotter object to a cooler object, so the heat of your hand flows to the ice cube and makes it start to melt because heat likes to be balanced and will flow to the ice cube until the ice cube and your hands are the same temperature.
