Radium-226 has a half life of 1,599 years. What proportion of a sample radium-226 would be left after 4,797 years have passed?

    If it was a 100g sample, there would be 12.5 grams left.

    Explanation:

    100g - ->50g-->25g-->12.5g

    each arrow represents one half life, or 1599 years. After three half lives, or 4797 years, there would be 12.5 grams remaining.
