Pure water, also known as purified water, is water from a source that has removed all impurities. Distilled water is the most common form of pure water. Pure water can be purified by carbon filtration, micro-porous filtration and ultraviolet oxidation. Some places use a combination of purification processes.

Purified water is water that has been filtered or processed to remove impurities like chemicals and other contaminants.
Explanation:
Distilled water is a type of purified water that is essentially free from contaminants. The distillation process removes fluoride and natural minerals found in drinking water.
Drinking water, which we usually think of as pure, really contains a whole mess of salts and sugars which make it slightly hypertonic. They also give water its taste.
