Zeolites are used in removing other substance like metals and amonium ions. Zeolites can exist naturally and it can can also be synthesized. Naturally occurring Zeolites are converted to magnetic Zeolites by mixing it with magnetic substance under the condition of high temperature and in the presence of Nitrogen. The conversion of Zeolites into magnetic Zeolites does not make it more stable, it makes more good for adsorption though.
