    HNO₃ (aq) + NH₃ (aq) = NH₄NO₃ (aq)

    HNO₃ + NH3 = NH₄ (+) + NO₃ (-)

    Therefore the net ionic equation will be;

    H⁺ (aq) + NH₃ = NH₄⁺ (aq)
