Lead (II) sulfate is precipitated from a mixture of water solutions of potassium sulfate and lead (II) nitrate. Write the word equation and balanced chemical equation for this double replacement reaction.

    One molecule of potassium sulfate plus one molecule of lead (II) nitrate gives one molecule of lead (II) sulfate and two molecules of potassium nitrate.
