    p2 = 2atm

    Explanation:

    using Boyle's law

    p1 x v1 = p2 x v2

    v1 = 1L

    p1 = 1 atm

    p2=?

    v2=0.5L

    substitute;

    1 x 1 = p2 x 0.5

    p2 = (1 x 1) / 0.5

    p2 = 2atm
