Which type of elements on the periodic table would you expect to have low ionization energy?

    As we go to the right along a period, the ionization energy usually becomes more and more (except about the groups 2-13 and 15-16). Also, when we go to the bottom along a group, the energies reduce. Therefore, robidium has the least ionization energy.
