    John Newland introduce the law of octaves. He arranged the all known elements of that time in periodic table in order of relative atomic mass.

    John Newland introduce the law of octaves.

    He arranged the all known elements of that time in periodic table in order of relative atomic mass.

    He noticed that every element have same properties to the next eight element of it.

    His work was not accepted for publication because of some problem present in his work.

    He place the iron in same group of oxygen and sulfur which are non-metals. That's why his work was not accepted.
