Why is a good insulator important for conserving energy in homes during the winter? The summer?

    Because during the winter it keeps the home warm and conserves heat, and during the summer it keeps your home cool. Kind of like how a Yeti cup keeps your drink warm if it's hot and keeps your drink cool if it was cold.
