A homogeneous solution is defined as the solution in which solute particles are evenly distributed into the solvent.

For example, table sugar when dissolves in water then a clear solution is obtained which is also a homogeneous solution.

On the other hand, a heterogeneous solution is defined as the solution in which solute particles are unevenly distributed into the solvent.

For example, mud particles present in water is a heterogeneous solution.

Thus, we can conclude that table sugar completely dissolved in water is an example of a homogeneous solution.
