Ammonia is a compound of hydrogen and nitrogen that dissolves easily in water. can you conclude that the hydrogen nitrogen dissolve in water?

    I don't think so because hydrogen and nitrogen alone are diatomic elements and they are stable in that form so that they do not react with each other. Ammonia in water do not decompose it self to hydrogen and nitrogen. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.
