What happens to the carbon dioxide molecules as the gas is compressed and cooled?

    Since the pressure and temperature are what are called state function ls, all carbon dioxude behaves the same at those specifications (all other things, suchas the mass, beign equal) no matter how the carbon dioxide started out.
