Calculate the density, in g/L, of N2 gas at 35°C and 0.98 atm pressure.?

    Assuming that N2 is ideal, then we could use the ideal gas equation:

    PV = nRT. Rearranging to solve for density,

    density = PM/RT, where M is the molar mass

    substituting:

    density = [ (0.98 atm) (28 g/mol) ]/[ (0.08206) (35+273 K) ] = 1.08 g/L
