    Endothermic: heat is absorbed

    Exothermic: heat is released

    And secondly this reaction would most

    likely be endothermic because breaking

    bonds and forming bonds requires energy

    you are breaking the bonds between the

    diatomic gasses and forming bonds

    between iodine+hydrogen molecule
