    We are given the total sample mass of 162 grams which contains carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and sulfur. we are also given with the individual masses of hydrogen, carbon and oxygen. Hence the mass of sulfur is equal to the difference of the total mass of the sample and the summation of the individual masses of elements. mass of sulfur is equal to 56 grams. the mass percent of sulfur is equal to 34.57 percent
