Element X most likely belongs on the right hand side of the Periodic Table. Element Z most likely belongs on the left hand side of the Periodic Table. Metals are usually good conductors of heat and electricity. You find them on the left hand side of the Periodic Table. Nonmetals are poor conductors of heat and electricity. You find them on the right hand side of the Periodic Table.
