Contrast solid nonmetals and solid metals.

    -Metals exists at solid state at room temperature, except for Mercury which is a liquid.

    -Non-metals can exist at ny state at room temperature.

    -Examples of metals: Aluminum, Copper, Lead, etc.

    -Examples of non-metals: Carbon, Iodine, Bromine, Sulphur, etc.
