Assume the reaction of 51.47 g of Ge in the following reaction to determine the other quantities.

3Ge + 2N2 - > 1Ge3N4

moles of Ge reacting = mol

moles of N2 required = mol

moles of Ge3N4 formed = mol

mass of Ge3N4 formed = g

    For the first one, divide by the mass of germanium.

    For the second one, multiply the # of germanium moles by 2/3.

    For the 3rd one, half the 2nd result.

    For the 4th one, divide the 3rd result by the mollecular mass of the compound.
