Under ordinary, room temperature conditions, the greatest number of elements are metals.

In periodic table the elements located at left, two third of them are metals.

Usually right side of periodic table contains more number of non metals. Among all the elements, 80 percent are metals. So normally at room temperature, all the elements are solids.
