For the answer to the question above, Becky should consider the climate of the native environment in which the plant is found then compare it the to the climate in which she plans on growing the flowers, similar climates will produce some similarities between soils. She should research on what type of environment the plant was suitable. Because like strawberries can't be grown on desert temperature and soil.
