    2 x molar mass of H + molar mass of O

In simpler terms as its H2O

There are two atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen. Using simple math this would be (1x2) + 16 = 18

The mass of hydrogen is 1 and the mass of oxygen is 16 so adding it together taking into account there is 2 atoms of hydrogen, would be 18
