    Yes, the data supports the researchers hypothesis.

    Explanation:

    From the given data, in all the cases except the fanning event in females, the fish parents which was fed full ration appeared.

    Take for example, 30.7 mouthing events in males given full ration as opposed to 24.5 events when they were fed on half ration.
