How mu heat energy, in joules, is absorbed when 150 grams of water is warmed from 38.8°c to 96.3°c?

    Use this equation:

    q = mc∆T

    q is the heat energy your trying to find out

    m is the mass of water (150g)

    c is the specific heat capacity of water (4.18)

    ∆T is the temperature change (96.3-38.8)

    so just multiply m c and ∆T to find q in joules
