In a coffee cup calorimeter, it is pressure that is kept constant. It was made so that it will have less or little pressure change and heat loss. A calorimeter is a device that is used in measuring the heat flow of a reaction. In this system, it is assumed that enthalpy of the reaction is equal to the heat that is released in the process.
