First calculate the molar mass of both gases

The molar mass for NO2 is 14+32=46

molar mass for NO is 14+16=30

divide the molar mass of NO2 by that of of NO

    that is 46/30=1.15

find the square root of 1.15 to get 1.07

THus NO effuse 1.07 times than NO2
