Describe a proton, neutron, and electron. Where are these particles located inside an atom.

    Atoms are made of extremely tiny particles called protons, neutrons, and electrons. Protons and neutrons are in the center of the atom, making up the nucleus. The charge on the proton and electron are exactly the same size but opposite.

    A proton has a positive charge. While a neutron has a neutral charge and an Electron has a negative charge. Protons and neutrons are located in the nucleus of an atom while the electrons are located in the electron cloud
