What is the difference between xylem and phloem?

A. Xylem carries water and nutrients up to the plants leaves while phloem carries food down form the plants leaves to its roots

B Xylem carries water and nutrients up to the plants leaves while phloem divides to make more xylem cells as the plants grows.

C. Xylem carries food up to the plants leaves while phloem carries water down from the plants leaves to its roots

D. Xylem divides to make more phloem cells as the plant grows, while phloem carries food down from the plants leaves to its roots.

    Your answer is A. cuz the movement of xylem goes from roots upwards while phloem goes from leaves downwards
