A sample of gas has an initial volume of 3.88 l at a pressure of 707 mmhg. part a if the volume of the gas is increased to 5.43 l, what will the pressure be? (assume constant temperature.)

    p1v1=p2v2

    v1=3.88

    v2=5.43

    p1=707

    p2=?

    707x3.88=p2x5.43

    2743.16/5.43=p2

    p2=505mmHg
