    1. 5.6792 m + 0.6 m + 4.33 m

    Adding gives: 10.6092 m

Of the three measurements given, the one with the least number of decimal places has to be considered since we are adding the measurements. 0.6 m has only one decimal place. So the answer has to be rounded off to one decimal place.

    Hence the answer = 10.6 m

    2. 3.70 g - 2.9133 g

    Subtracting gives: 0.7867

The answer has to be rounded off to the least number of decimal places which is 2, (3.70)

    Hence the answer = 0.79 g

    3. 4.51 cm * 3.6666 cm

    Multiplying gives: 16.536366

For multiplication, the answer needs to be rounded off to the least number of significant figures in the given measurements. 4.51 cm has three significant figures.

So rounding off, the answer = 16.5 cm²
