    Butyric Acid is C4H8O2

    C has a molar mass of 12.011

    H has a molar mas of 1.008

    O has a molar mass of 15.999

To find molar mass of butyric acid:

    (12.011*4) + (1.008*8) + (15.999*2) = molar mass of butyric acid

    Molar mass = 88.12 g/mol
