The total proton charge means the charge of proton multiply by the total number of protons. As we know a charge on proton in Coulombs is,

    Charge on Proton = 1.602 * 10⁻¹⁹ C

Now, number of protons from total proton charge is calculated as,

    As Total proton Charge = 1.602 * 10⁻¹⁹ C * # of Protons

    Or,

    # of Protons = Total Proton Charge : 1.602 * 10⁻¹⁹ C

    Putting Values,

    # of Protons = 1.12 * 10⁻¹⁸ C : 1.602 * 10⁻¹⁹ C

    # of Protons = 6.99 ≈ 7

    Result:

Total Number of Protons are 7, so The element is Nitrogen as Number of Protons show Atomic Number and Atomic Number of Nitrogen is 7.
